FULL DAY MINISTRY INTENSIVE

Christian School Educators

In partnership with All Belong, the Cleveland Tour Stop will feature a dedicated Christian Schools Ministry Intensive designed to help educators, administrators, and support leaders better support students of all abilities through a Christ-centered vision of inclusion and belonging. As more families seek Christian education options equipped to serve students with disabilities, this partnership reflects a growing need for schools and churches to work together in creating environments where every student can flourish spiritually, socially, and academically.

The experience will include a full-day Ministry Intensive on Thursday, along with two breakout workshops on Friday, offering practical training, collaboration, and encouragement for Christian educators and leaders passionate about building communities where every student is known, needed, and belongs.

AFTERNOON MINISTRY INTENSIVES

Starting & Strengthening Your Church’s Disability Engagement Ministry

In this ministry intensive, Victoria White and Beth Golik will cover everything you need to know to launch a disability ministry or help your church take the next steps toward creating belonging with people of all abilities. From articulating your “Why” to discovering the “How” that works for your church, we will articulate a theology of disability, consider models & methods of disability ministry, and discuss how to equip your team, plus provide a slew of practical tools for supporting participants. You will be prepared with tools you can implement right away and ideas that will help you grow your ministry and serve your community in the years to come.

Creating Trauma-Informed and Accessible Ministry Spaces

Anxiety, depression, and trauma are showing up in the lives of the kids we serve. If we want to reach them with the hope of Jesus, we need to understand what’s behind their behaviors. In this interactive, real-life workshop, Kim Botto will equip you with trauma-informed strategies you can use right away. You’ll learn how to recognize the hidden signs of trauma, respond in ways that build trust, and create safe environments where kids can heal and thrive. Come ready to get practical, ask questions, and rethink how your ministry supports hurting kids—especially when behavior gets tough.

A Step-by-Step Guide to Starting or Growing Your Mental Health Ministry

Individuals and families impacted by common mental health conditions arguably represent the largest underserved population by the church in North America. This year’s mental health intensive will provide church leaders with a comprehensive set of resources for crafting a mental health outreach and inclusion strategy, offer an array of supports for caring for children, adults and families who are already part of the church, and provide ideas, inspiration and connections for mature Christians sensing a call to mental health ministry through, or independent of the churches they attend.
