Allison Huffstutler

Allison Huffstutler is a former educator turned disability advocate and community leader. With degrees in Mathematics Education and Biblical Counseling, along with advanced training in special education law, Allison brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work. As the mother of two children with disabilities, she is passionate about disability education, systemic change and connecting families to the supports they need to thrive in schools, churches and their communities.

In 2021, Allison co-founded BRIDGED, a nonprofit dedicated to equipping communities with education, resources and innovative solutions that promote awareness, connection and inclusion of people with disabilities. In 2023, she and her co-founder, Amy Hibbs, received the RespectABLE Award from Able SC for their innovative disability awareness programs in schools.

Allison currently serves as Vice Chair of the South Carolina Advisory Council for Educating Students with Disabilities and is actively involved in local and statewide advocacy efforts. In 2026, she was selected to participate in the National Disability Leadership Series, a year-long national initiative for emerging leaders in disability advocacy.
