Dana Hecht is President and Chief Executive Officer of Jill’s House, a Christian nonprofit that loves and serves families raising individuals with profound intellectual disabilities through short-term, overnight respite care and holistic family support services. She has served at Jill’s House since before its doors even opened in 2010, helping craft Jill’s House respite program, from intake through program experience. Most recently she served as the Vice President of Compliance and Family Support, developing a holistic suite of programs to round out Jill’s House respite services and helping bring life-changing community to parents, kids with intellectual disabilities, and typical siblings alike.
Dana has extensive experience in nonprofit management and disability services, including program design and management, regulatory compliance, and community outreach, and has a passion for holistic support of families and family preservation in times of need. Dana holds a bachelor’s degree in communication arts and political science from James Madison University and a law degree from William & Mary, and she previously practiced law in Washington, D.C.
