Doug Babbitt attends and is a servant leader at New Life Community Church in Georgetown, MA. where people and families with disabilities are enthusiastically embraced as indispensable members of the body of Christ. Doug has been a certified Speech-Language Pathologist for more than 30 years and currently works with medically fragile and neurodiverse children and adults. Doug serves on the Joni and Friends New England Engagement Team and has co-lead missions teams to Thailand for many years. Doug has been married to his wife Liz, the Senior Ministry Relations Manager for Joni and Friends new England, for 46 years. They have two adult sons and five grandchildren; the youngest is neurodiverse.
