Jennifer Nicholson

Jennifer joined the Spring Creek Church staff as the ministry director in the summer of 2023. She acts as a leadership liaison and takes the responsibility of developing and implementing disability ministry programming within the church and surrounding community. Jennifer is eager to build a program that not only supports but also helps families with special needs grow and flourish within the church and by accessing available community resources.

Jennifer is married and blessed with three wonderful children – Scotland, Braedon, and Susie. Her family resides in Sussex, Wisconsin, and are joined by her father, Larry, along with two dogs, Loki and Skywalker. Jennifer’s family has been blessed with disability, as her two sons are on the Autism Spectrum and her father lives with dementia.

In addition to being a mom, Jennifer is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, serving people with disabilities for nearly 30 years, but her deepest commitment lies in her faith. Growing up as a pastor’s daughter, Jennifer heard the Gospel from a young age. At four, she knew she didn’t want to go to hell if she died. However, it wasn’t until she was 16 that she fully comprehended and embraced her own redemption story, putting her faith and trust in Christ. Since then, her life has been dedicated to being a fully devoted follower of Christ!

When Jennifer does have a free moment, she loves to go hiking and taking leisurely walks with her dogs, shopping ‘till she drops with her daughter, and enjoying a good book! She absolutely loves interacting with people from diverse backgrounds and abilities and feels beyond blessed to be part of any disability community.
