Jennifer Ripley

Dr. Jennifer Ripley is the Hughes Endowed Co-Chair and Professor of Psychology at Regent University. A licensed clinical psychologist and APA Fellow, she directs the Charis Institute and leads research and training in the Hope-Focused Approach to couple therapy. Her work has brought in over a million dollars in grants from the Templeton Foundation and the National Christian Foundation to integrate faith, science, and relationship health through initiatives such as The Church Cares, a peer support program for religious organizations. Author of multiple books and over 60 scholarly articles, Dr. Ripley has been honored nationally for her contributions to mental health. She is a sought-after speaker on hope, couples therapy, forgiveness, and the integration of psychology and faith in practice. Personally, she has been married to her childhood sweetheart for 32 years and is the mother of 2 wonderful adults.
