Rachel Olstad

Rachel Olstad has been involved in disability ministry for over 30 years, following the birth of her son Bryce in 1990. Rachel retired in 2024 from the position of Director of Disabilities Ministry at Jacksonville Presbyterian Church in southern Oregon. She and her husband Brent started Camp Levi, a retreat for families affected by disability, as an outreach ministry of their church. She was involved in launching her church’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Ministry and support groups, continues to volunteer in her church’s disability ministries in her retirement, and is particularly passionate about sharing with other churches wishing to begin the DisMin journey.
