Nadia Mossburg

Nadia Ibrahim Mossburg, MA, MSW, is a retired senior policy advisor who shaped disability policy for over 20 years at the federal, state, and local levels. As a chief architect of national initiatives for the U.S. Departments of Labor as well as Health and Human Services, she led coalitions to advance systemic changes in disability employment and healthcare access. Nadia now applies the strategic insights to the local church. A recipient of numerous awards for her work— including the global Zero Project Award—she challenges faith communities to dismantle the Charity Model of ministry and embrace a Framework of Necessity. She is the author of the upcoming book Divinely Disabled (Penguin Random House, Fall 2026) and lives in Florida with her family and retired service dog, Watson.
