Shannon Diehl serves as the Special Needs and Children’s ministry coordinator at Berlin First Baptist Church in Berlin MD. Through her leadership, BFBC has adjusted its worship services, launched a youth group for individuals with needs, and hosts bi-monthly gatherings that provide both respite for families and fellowship for participants. Shannon’s creativity, and compassion have created spaces where individuals feel welcomed and valued, even though she is not a parent of a child with special needs. She has shown Christlike dedication to caring for this often overlooked community.
