Andrew Barron was an adjunct faculty member at the Centre for Spirituality, Disability, and Care at Martin Luther University College, a federated college of Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario, Canada. He has taught disability and theology at Ambrose University in Calgary, Alberta, Tyndale University in Toronto, and Wycliffe College at the University of Toronto, where he earned his Doctor of Ministry in 2016.
Barron lives in Toronto with his wife, Laura, and their three children, Rafael, Ketzia, and Simona. He is the primary caregiver for Rafael, who has Down syndrome. In his spare time, Andrew teaches martial arts at Northern Karate Schools in Toronto, where he holds a fourth-degree black belt.
