After living with Multiple Sclerosis for 25 years and using a wheelchair for the past decade, Mike recently developed a deep passion for the world of disability ministry. His journey into this work began after attending the 2025 Disability and the Church Conference, where he gained a fresh vision for what true inclusion can look like in the local church.
Inspired and equipped, Mike returned to his congregation and began implementing intentional changes to ensure that the church became a welcoming and accessible place for individuals and families affected by disability. Over the past year, he has led a team through a transformative process—celebrating meaningful successes, learning from missteps, and building a model for sustainable, Christ-centered inclusion.
